We arrived at sunrise, intending on a magic light shoot, but nature decided to start the day with thick fog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Sign2642.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1787\" alt=\"Peggy's Cove road sign\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Sign2642.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know about you, but doesn&#8217;t it just seem more beautiful to see this majestic lighthouse in dense fog?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Lighthouse-in-Fog-2665.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1788\" alt=\"Lighthouse in fog\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Lighthouse-in-Fog-2665.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The harbour there is so <em>very<\/em> picturesque in the fog as well.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC2687peggyscove_1024.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5852\" alt=\"_DSC2687peggyscove_1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC2687peggyscove_1024.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC2731peggyscove_1024.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5853\" alt=\"_DSC2731peggyscove_1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC2731peggyscove_1024.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Fog.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1858\" alt=\"Classic Peggy's Cove in fog\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Fog.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"410\"><\/a>It didn&#8217;t take long for the fog to start burning off. &nbsp;If you want to avoid crowds, consider arriving very early in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Harbour-2777.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1795\" alt=\"Peggy's Cove harbour\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Peggys-Cove-Harbour-2777.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As the fog cleared, we were able to get a better view of the rocks and the ocean. One of my favourite photos of all summer was this one below, shot using my iPhone, go figure.
