I love the cave-like atmosphere of \u00a0the bar there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGate9676.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3758\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGate9676.jpg\" alt=\"St James Gate Interior\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since last summer, I have noticed some welcome changes to the draught on tap, most notably, the addition of one of my favourites, Delerium Tremens. Of course, I had to order one.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateTaps9675.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3759\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateTaps9675.jpg\" alt=\"St James Gate Taps\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateSelf9683.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3760\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateSelf9683.jpg\" alt=\"Blair at St. James Gate\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carolyn ordered the seafood soup and commented on how tasty it was, never a disappointment here.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateSeafoodSoup9686.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3762\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateSeafoodSoup9686.jpg\" alt=\"Seafood Soup\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I sampled Charley&#8217;s Chowder, which is a lunch-time summer menu item. I enjoyed the chowder very much.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateChowder9684.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3765\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/StJamesGateChowder9684.jpg\" alt=\"Chowder\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The icing for our lunch was the very wonderful waitress, Carol.
