We ventured to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/?p=1785\">Peggy&#8217;s Cove <\/a>on a cold December evening in an effort to catch dramtic lighting on the lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s not true, hehe. We were actually visiting our friend <a href=\"http:\/\/microprojects.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Darryl<\/a>&nbsp;and decided to eat out for supper. In December, most of the restaurants in the area are closed for the season, with the exception of the&nbsp;Sou&#8217;western at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/?p=1785\">Peggy&#8217;s Cove<\/a>, so we decide to head there. We just happened to be there at a spectacular time of day to catch the dramatic sunset against the lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/PeggysCoveSunset3805.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4766\" alt=\"Peggy's Cove lighthouse at sunset\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/PeggysCoveSunset3805.jpg\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/movies\/peggy's_cove.mp4\" width=\"698\" height=\"389\" frameborder=\"0\" align=\"center\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It was very windy when we were here, as you can see with the waves spashing on the rocks below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/PeggysCoveSunset3855.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4774\" alt=\"Peggy's Cove lighthouse\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/PeggysCoveSunset3855.jpg\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Catching the Peggy&#8217;s Point lighthouse in silhouette at sunset is simplay an amazing spectacle.
