It&#8217;s a very long process to watch the tide come in and then go out. I wasn&#8217;t even planning to wait for the sunset, but fortunately I did (thanks to Carolyn), as the cliffs turn a golden colour as the sun sets on them &#8211; absolutely stunning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/CapeDor20367.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-965\" src=\"http:\/\/www.visitingnovascotia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/CapeDor20367.jpg\" alt=\"Cape D'Or cliffs\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thanks to Darcy at &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/235\/1549520\/restaurant\/Atlantic-Provinces\/Nova-Scotia\/Lighthouse-at-Cape-DOr-Advocate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Lightkeeper&#8217;s Kitchen<\/a>&#8221; for serving us lunch outside while we were shooting.
